Reeves

Georgia Diane Reeves, 74, of Gillespie, died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, on Monday, May 6, 2024. She was born April 1, 1950, in East St. Louis, Ill., to William Homer Long and Rue Ann Mitchell Long.

She was a sales cashier and she married Bobby Ray Reeves of Gillespie on March 20, 1983 in Granite City and he survives.

She is survived by her son, Frankie Scott Sims, Greenville; and grandson, William Scott Fenton. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Long; two sisters, Dorothy Long and Roberta Hull.
