Sharon Kay Nessl, 77, of Gillespie, died at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield on Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born March 23, 1947, in Alton, Ill. the daughter of Leonard Garret and Florence Lorraine Davis Garret Ussery and they preceded her in death.

She married Roger G. Nessl of Gillespie, in Bunker Hill on Dec. 31, 1966 and he survives her. She worked at Walmart and she enjoyed doing crafts, helping plan parties, and riding down the river road.

She is survived by her two children, Travis Nessl and Melinda (Scott) Roeske, Gillespie; five grandchildren, Sebastian Nessl, Blaine Nessl, Zacha...
