The Staunton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Staunton has announced that Lynn and Nancy Neuhaus are the 2022 Staunton Citizens of the Year. Lynn and Nancy were recognized and awarded their plaque Friday, Dec. 2, at the Christmas tree lighting on Main Street.
Lynn is the son of the late Harold and Audrie Neuhaus. Audrie was the 1993 recipient of the Staunton Citizen of the Year. Nancy grew up and lived in Staunton, and has been married to Lynn for the past 49 years. The first 10 years they lived in Staunton, then moved to Gillespie, and returned to Staunton 20 years ago.
