Robinson

Phyllis Jean Robinson, 79, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on Feb. 8, 1945, in Edwardsville, Ill., the daughter of Ralph and Mabel (Klopmeier) Helmkamp, and they preceded her in death. She married her husband of nearly 55-years, John Robinson, at Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill on Aug. 9, 1969 and he survives.

A graduate of Bunker Hill High School, with the class of 1963, she began her career at Olin as a switchboard operator before dedicating herself full-time to her family and farm. She was a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker H...
