Alberta Marie Schunk, 71, of Litchfield, died at Litchfield Health and Rehab Center in Litchfield on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Also known as “Cookie,” Alberta was born Dec. 4, 1952, in East St. Louis, Ill. to Frank and Virginia (Gillespie) Schunk.

She was a home health care assistant. Alberta was a strong Christian and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four children, Zane (Trinity) Jones, Michael (Lissette) Jones, Cody Jones, and Ethan Jones. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents and son, Adam Jones.
