Zion Ladies Basketball team goes to State Tournament

The Zion Lady Panthers Basketball team (which consists of ladies from grades 5 thru 8) earned a trip to the Lutheran School Association Ladies State Basketball Tournament with a record of 18 wins and 2 losses

Zion Lutheran School will be holding a pep rally for the ladies at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29, before they depart for Arlington Heights, Ill. They will play Arlington Heights Friday, March 1, at 11:45 a.m. The Lady Panthers are coached by Michelle Hemken and Danny Mosser.

Zion Lutheran School is located at 220 W. Henry St. in Staunton, across the street from Zion Lutheran Church. Please feel free to come worship with the congregation at 5 p.m. on Saturday nights, and 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, with Sunday School being held at 9:30 a.m. between services.
