Ronald Edwin Boehme, 89, passed away on Feb. 11, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. Ronald was born on Jan. 27, 1935 in Litchfield to Edwin Boehme and Norma (Niemann) Boehme. He married Gwendolyn Joyce Oelrichs in 1958 at Mt. Olive Zion Church, and she survives.

He attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Mt. Olive until eighth grade. Ronald was a 1953 graduate of Mt. Olive High School. He served in the U.S. Army and he was honorably discharged and was selected as the “Soldier of the Cycle” during his basic training.
