Stolte

Mary Jean Stolte, 77, of Worden, formerly of Carlinville, passed away at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Mo. on Feb. 10, 2024. She was born on Feb. 26, 1946 to Ross and Mary (Root) McGee in Edwardsville. Mary married Ray King on March 7, 1964 at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Hamel, Ill. They were married 23 years before they divorced, and Mary married Kenneth Otto Stolte, Sr. in Carlinville. He preceded her in death April 16, 2018.

Mary was a cook at the Carlinville West School for many years, and then was a dietary and cook at Lake Williamson Christian Center in Carlinville. Late...
