Bonds

Linda Marie Bonds, 72, of Staunton, died at her residence in Staunton on Jan. 13, 2024. She was born Feb. 12, 1951 in Chester, Ill. the daughter to Robert James Bax and Margret (Chapman) Feldman. She married Ron Bonds on Oct. 21, 1986 and he survives.

Linda was a cook at Country Side Plaza in Troy, Ill. for many years. She retired in 1997.

She enjoyd her cats, flowers, reading books, her knick-knacks, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Martin of Midland, Texas and Jamie Martin of Staunton; five grandchildren, Stephen Rodriquez, Heather Rodriquez, Brianna Rodriquez, Colin Bain, and Adalynn Bain; three great-grandchildren, Eric Rodriquez, Aaliyah Arizpe, Layla Arizpe; one sister, Margie (David) Winter of S.C.;

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy Bator; and step-father, Leo Feldman.
