Mary Louise McKnight, 71, passed away on Jan. 5, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born on Oct. 11, 1952 to William Charles Slusser and Frances Geraldine (Allen) Slusser.

She graduated from Mt. Olive High School in the class of 1971. Mary was employed as an office associate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frances Slusser; one brother, Larry; and son, Shawn Slusser. Mary is survived by two sisters, Shirley Slusser and Sharon (Robert) Folkerts; and a niece, Robyn Leann (Kevin) Niesmann.
