Edward L. “Mr. Ed” Dean, 69, of Mount Olive, passed away on Jan. 8, 2024 at the Staunton Health and Rehab Center in Staunton. He was born March 5, 1954, in Amboy, Ill. a son of the late Leonard Dean and Juanita (Reiners) Dean. He married Patricia G. (York) Dean on Jan. 9, 1993, in Gillespie and she survives.

Ed was an over the road truck driver with many years as an owner and operator prior to his retirement. He was a member of Lead Church in Collinsville and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends. He had a special love for his days of crappie fish...
