Donna Kay Logue, 77, of Glen Carbon and formerly of Staunton, died at her residence in Glen Carbon on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023. She was born Aug. 19, 1946 in Rock Springs, Wy. the daughter to Mike Knezevich and Jean (Jones) Knezevich and both preceded her in death.

She married Jimmie Ellis Logue on Jan. 17, 1970 in Granite City and he passed away on Feb. 20, 2006.

She was a secretary at Lewis and Clark College in Godfrey and later a preschool teacher at Zion Lutheran School in Staunton. Donna was also a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton.

Donna is survived by her threee sons, Michael Stephen (Michelle) Logue of Glen Carbon, Richard James (Wende) Logue of Staunton, Matthew Nolan (Jennifer) Logue of Crystal Lake; seven grandchildren, Amy Cwiklinski Zimirowski, Alyssa Logue, Christian Logue, Tyler Logue, Madison Logue, Miles Logue, and Elizabeth Cole; two sisters, Glenna (Deon) Youngkin of Jacksonville, N.C. and Carla (Rex) Buzan of Granite City; three brothers, Robert (Kathy) Knezevich of Edinburg, Ewin (Elizabeth) Knezevich of Alton, and Dale (Nancy) Knezevich of Duluth, Minn .; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.
