Bloemker

Dennis James Bloemker, 72, of Mt. Olive, Ill., died on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 24, 1951, in Staunton, to Elton and Alma Bloemker. Dennis married Gail (Guiliani) Grejtak on Sept. 25, 1998. They were married 25 years, and she survives.

He attended Staunton High School and graduated with the Class of 1970. Dennis loved playing poker with his brothers, sons and grandsons. He also enjoyed boating and going to Kentucky Lake. He served in the National Guard. He was employed as a truck driver and retired from Tubular Steel in Staunton.
