Roger Dale Agee, 75, of Litchfield, Ill., died at his residence on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023. He was born July 16, 1948, in Alton, to Charles Harvey Agee and Jewell B. McCord Agee. He married Ona Noe on Sept. 7, 1970, in Alton. She survives.

He was retired after having been a civil engineer for Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served during Vietnam. Roger was a member of the VFW of Staunton, Moose Lodge of Litchfield, DAV and American Legion of Litchfield.

He is survived by his wife, Ona Agee of Litchfield; children, Jeremy Agee (Marissa Hair) of Anchorage, Alaska, Denise Simpson of Gillespie; grandchildren, Opal Azbill, Eric Simpson, Nicholas Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Seth Agee; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Russell Agee, Leslie Agee, Ronald Agee, and Donna Vargas. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, John Agee, Michael Agee, Charles Agee, Carol Agee, Rhonda Agee, and Judith Agee.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, Oct. 28.
