Diana G. Stern, 81, of Staunton, Ill., died on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at Staunton Health & Rehab Center in Staunton. She was born on Sept. 28, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of the late Jack and Anita J. Owen Stern. She was previously married to Bernie Hannig.

She worked as a secretary for Bernie Hannig Construction, Inc., in Staunton for many years. She was later secretary at Heritage Bible Church in Largo, Fla., for 20 years. She graduated from Florissant High School in Florissant, Mo., and enjoyed reading and traveling.
