Thomas Campbell (#71), Braden Buffington (#12), Cole Sternickle (#21), and Jordan Snider (#70) carried the number 51 jersey on the football field in memory of Larry Caldieraro Jr. (aka "Coach Cal").
The Staunton Bulldogs pretty much maintained control during their Homecoming Football Game vs the Gillespie Miners on Friday Sept. 22 and nailed down their 38 - 16 victory.
The Bulldogs were able to score in every quarter starting in the first with an 11 yard run by Cody Kapp. The PAT was good giving the Bulldogs their first 7 points. Still in the first quarter, Drake Rose was able to score a safety for Staunton adding 2 points and giving the Bulldogs their 9-3 lead after one quarter.
