Southern Illinois Dressage Classic was held in DuQuoin on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 & 10.

Avery Donahue, 8 years old, of New Douglas was one of the participants from Brier Bank Equestrian Farm in Marine to compete in Levels A & B Dressage Competitions. During the two day competition, Avery and her horse “Pache” won three first place Blue Ribbons and one 4th place Purple Ribbon. Avery also received the award for being the youngest participant in the competition.
