The Staunton High School volleyball girls started their season with five wins.
They played Metro-East Edwardsville and Springfield Lutheran in tournament play on Aug. 25, winning both matches (2-1 and 2-0). They played Triad in a non-conference match on Aug. 26 and won 2-0. Also on Aug. 26, they played LaSalle - Peru winning 2-1 and Hartsburg - Emden winning 2-1 in tournament play.
This week the girls will play at Williamsville on Sept. 5 and then at Home vs. Breese Central on Sept 12....
