Arlene Anna Butts, 68, of Litchfield, Ill., died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., on Thursday, May 25, 2023.  She was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Mt. Olive to Louis and Viola (Eickmeyer) Pauge.  She married Larry G. Butts on July 7, 2000, in Gillespie. He survives.

She was a factory assembler in the boat and motor parts industry.  Arlene was an avid reader and seamstress. She enjoyed video games. 

She is survived by her husband, Larry Butts of Litchfield; sons, Ron Street, Eric Street, Chris Peters; two grandchildren; brother, Pete Peters of Missouri; and sister, Betty Pierce of Minnesota.  Arlene was preceded in death by her parents.
