Staunton Township voted to provide $20,000 toward the replacement of a bridge in Dorchester Township. The bridge crosses Cahokia Creek and is used by Staunton School District buses.

A son was born to John Wesbrook and Diana Sugg of Staunton on May 5 at St. Anthony’s Health Center in Alton.

A son was born to Todd and Mary (Baum) Salovich of Collinsville on May 7.

Cecil and Viola (Davison) Brackman of Staunton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14.
