Sheryn Lee "Sherrie" Little, 75, of Sawyerville, Ill., died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born June 8, 1947, in Arkansas City, Kan.

For many years, Sherrie worked retail for Rural King in both Carlinville and Litchfield. She took great joy and pride in addressing the customers with a smile and hello, and escorting them through the store to retrieve the item they were looking to purchase. She enjoyed talking to people.

She is survived by her son, Rick (Rachel) Smith of Carlinville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Gayla) Crites of Gillespie, Jerry (Cindy) Crites of Benld; three nieces, one nephew, six great-nieces, and six great-nephews. Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jean Crites; husband, Larry Little; and brother, Garrie Crites.

Private family services will be held.
