Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

After competing in the Carlinville Holiday Tournament, the Staunton High School Basketball Bulldogs played the Hiltoppers on Dec.29th. Hillsboro won this game 66 - 41. On January 6th, the Bulldogs traveled to Pana and lost to the Panthers 30 - 56.

On Jan. 10th, the Bulldogs returned home to play Civic Memorial. The Eagles defeated the Bulldogs 65 - 47.

CM 19- 12 - 19 - 15 = 65

Staunton 9 - 8 - 20 - 10 = 47

This week (Jan. 16) the Bulldogs were scheduled to play Carlinville in their first round of the County Tournament being played in Bunker Hill.
