Written by Rev. Avis Richardson:
On a personal note, Marietta was, in her retirement hours, a woman of deep faith. The long commitment and devotion by which she had faithfully coveted to care for others in her nursing career never ceased to be present while she assumed the sense of deep responsibility for her loved ones and friends.
With a sweet fierce determination she made a difference in our lives as her abiding trust in God. She prayed for us with her generous spirit of love and grace before the throne. A good and faithful servant of the Lord.
