Betty Ann McKinney, 82, of Livingston, Ill., died at her residence in Livingston, Ill., on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022. She was born on Sept. 25, 1940, in Alton, a daughter of the late Loren and Anna (Marchis) Hainaut. She married Jerome D. Bond on Aug. 16, 1958, in Edwardsville, and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1986. She then married James P. McKinney on Sept. 12, 2003, in Edwardsville, and he passed away on Oct. 3, 2008.

Betty worked as housekeeping supervisor at Barry Care Center (now Heritage Health) in Staunton for 27 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston.

Survivors include her children, Peggy (Joe) Boston, Tina (Jim) Cuppett, Christine McKinney, Mike McKinney and family, Phil (Stefanie) McKinney and family; grandchildren, Chris Buse, Cory Buse, Kim (Clark) Kays, Ricky Gaston Jr., Sarah (Kris Ishum) Gaston; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Art (Cherie) Bond, Ed (Jean) Bond, Earl (Ethel) McKinney, Dan (Lavonna) McKinney, Larry (Barb) McKinney, Butch (Virginia) McKinney; sister-in-law, Vi Jarden; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianna “DeeDee” Gaston; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Jerry Deininger; brother-in-law, Van Jarden; sisters-in-law, MaryLee (Ronald) Howard, Renee Bond; and nephew, Bobby Deininger.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston. Funeral services follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Darwin Schrader officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.
