A theft occurred at Dietiker’s Men’s and Boys’ Clothing Store on Main Street during business hours. A teenager entered the store, grabbed several expensive team jackets and fled. It’s believed he was not from this area.

In the regular school board meeting, Denise Hemphill, Terry Odorizzi and Wayne Bruhn Jr. took the oath of office. Bob Rotsch was elected president, Tim Williamson, vice president, and Denise Hemphill secretary.

The Football Bulldogs, coached by Scott Tonsor, ended their season at the State Playoffs by losing 7-14 to DuQuoin.
