Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The Staunton girls volleyball team traveled to Carlinville Thursday, Sept. 29, and defeated the Lady Cavaliers in two sets of 25-21.

Haris Legendre led the team in kills with 12, followed by Danielle Russell with 7. Kennedy Legendre and Taylor Nolan each had 3 kills.

Grace Bekeske and Nolan each had 1 block.

Kylie Lucykow and K. Legendre led in digs with 13 and 12 respectively.

Following the Carlinville match, the girls held a 12-5 season record and 4-0 in conference.

On Thursday, Oct. 6, the girls are at home vs. Hillsboro for another conference match.

This Saturday, Oct. 8, the girls will host the County Tournament at the main gym and the multi-purpose building.
