Bulldogs lose to Comets

The Bulldogs made an impressive entrance on to the field at Friday night's game dressed in camouflage in honor of military personnel and first responders.

Friday, Sept. 9, the Greenville Comets were in Staunton for our third game of the season. The Comets were able to claim their 2nd win of the season when they defeated the Bulldogs 38-14.

The Comets took the opening kickoff. They had advanced the ball to a 2nd & goal and ran in for their first TD. Their PAT try failed but they led 6-0 with 8:57 still left in the 1st quarter. After trading punts, the Comets would run for another TD. Their try for the 2-point conversion failed but they now held a 12-0 lead.
