Process Could Last Throughout The Month Of May

The Staunton Water Treatment Plant will be flushing fire hydrants starting Wednesday, May 1, 2024 and it could potentially last all month.

Residents may experience discolored water and low water pressure. If staining occurs in laundry, a cleaning product can be obtained at the City Clerk's Office to assist in the removal of stains.

Residents are encouraged to avoid the use of bleach during this time as it may set the stains permanently into clothing.
