It was an extremely hot day on Thursday, June 16, but we had some good golfing. The low gross was the team of Rosemarie Pickerill and Sue Stiegemeier and the low net was the team of Deb McNaughton and Martha Riley. The two teams tied for low putts. Rosemarie and Sue had a birdie on #7. We will start again at 8:30 a.m. due to the excessive heat.

The raffle for the ladies golf club is going very well. Great golf bag, lots of Cardinal items and a beautiful quilt. Tickets are available at the club house.

The ladies all stayed and enjoyed a very nice lunch. The course is looking great even in this heat.

The scoring for June 23 was as follows: Beautiful day for golf. The low gross was the team of Deb McNaughton, Rosemarie Pickerill and Kathryn Young with a score of 37. They also had two birdies; Rosemarie had one on #9 and the team had one on #6. They also had low putts of 9. The low net was the team of Denise Hemphill, Martha Boston and Linda Rohe with a score of 22. They also have a chip-in on #3.

We would like to thank the greenskeepers for the great job they are doing. We will begin golfing at 9 a.m. next week.
