The Staunton High School Lady Bulldog softball team extended their season by defeating Greenville 6-0 on Friday, May 20, at Vandalia. The Lady Bulldogs put together 13 hits including a 2-run homer by Savannah Billings. Staunton scored 2 in the 3rd inning and added 4 in the 6th for their 6-run total while holding Greenville scoreless.

Gianna Bianco pitched the entire game for the Bulldogs. She struck out 5, walked 3, and gave up only 2 hits in the shut out win.

The win brought the Bulldogs season record to 17-3 and advanced them to play Newton on Monday, May 23, at Vandalia. A win on Mond...
