The academic achievements of the Staunton High School Class of 2022 were recognized during graduation ceremonies on Friday night.
Scholarships awarded to individuals from the Class of 2022 by various colleges and foundations include:
Ty Abernathy received the SIUE Cougar Pride Scholarship.
Grace Bandy received the Paul Mitchell The School Normal High School Scholarship.
Savannah Billings received the Quincy University Women’s Softball Grant, the Quincy University Diocesan Scholarship, the Quincy University Discover Scholarship, the Quincy University Robert Blazel Scholarship, the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship, and the Staunton Hospital Community Scholarship.
Lily Bruhn received the SIUE Cougar Pride Scholarship and the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship.
Kristen Chepely received the Lewis and Clark Community College Academic Scholarship.
Joseph Cisler received the SIUE Cougar Pride Scholarship, the DAR Good Citizen Scholarship, the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship and the Zion Alumni and Friends Scholarship.
Jonathan Daugherty received the SIUE Cougar Pride Scholarship and the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship.
Holly DeVries received the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship.
Ashley Ellis received the Lewis and Clark Community College Foundation Distinguished Scholar Award and the Zion Alumni and Friends Scholarship.
Koral Keehner received the UIS CAP Honors Scholarship, the UIS Athletic Scholarship, the UIS Valedictorian Scholarship, the Red Cross Scholarship and the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship.
Brooke Kinder received the SIUE Cougar Pride Scholarship and the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship.
Teagan Lorenz received the Mark Twain Scholarship and the Selma J. Hartke Scholarship.
