Pickers Market launches 7th season

The Litchfield Pickers Market will be open its seventh season from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, in downtown Litchfield. It is the largest open-air pickers market in the area and specializes in antiques, collectibles, vintage items, and refurbished items.

Each month the Litchfield Pickers Market welcomes musicians to perform at the Carnegie Park stage. During the May 8 market, Avery Kern will kick off the day and perform live from 9 to 11:30 a.m., followed by Downstate from noon to 3 p.m.

To aid in public sanitation efforts this year, everyone will be asked to directly dispose of their own trash into provided dumpsters. Only a limited amount of picnic tables will be set out to avoid the frequently touched surfaces.

There is no cost to enter the market. With multiple entry points, visitors can park around the perimeter and enter anywhere. Remember, animals are not permitted at the Litchfield Pickers Market.
