Thursday, March 1, 1990 -- Citizens protest condition Of Franklin Street due to Sewer construction work -- Mayor Brauer called the Staunton City Council to order at 7 p.m. on March 12. The regular order of business was suspended to hear from guests.

A few irate citizens from Franklin Street: John Meckles, Tony Yakos, Rick Haase and Rick Fey, addressed the council as to the deplorable condition of Franklin Street.
