The Lady Bulldogs pulled off an impressive win at the 2022 Macoupin County Tournament.

The Staunton High School basketball Lady Bulldogs proved why they were ranked #1 at the Macoupin County Tournament by winning it all. As a #1 seed, the Lady Bulldogs received a first round bye.
On Tuesday, Jan. 18, the Lady Bulldogs played the winner of Monday's game between North Mac and Piasa Southwestern. They defeated North Mac by a score of 50-18 advancing the Lady Bulldogs into the championship game to be played Jan. 20.
In the other bracket on Monday, Carlinville had defeated Mt. Olive 62-14 and Gillespie defeated Bunker Hill 48-13. On Tuesd...
