SHS Scholastic Bowl at conference tournament

SHS varsity team member Joseph Siegfried and junior varsity team member Ava Roller both earned All Conference honors at the South Central Scholastic Bowl Tournament.
On Saturday, Dec. 4, the Staunton Scholastic Bowl team competed in the South Central Scholastic Bowl Tournament at Mt. Olive High School. The varsity team had 5 wins and 3 losses. Joseph Siegfried was named 10th All-Conference for the varsity team, and Ava Roller was named 8th All-Conference for the junior varsity team. Participating schools were Southwestern, Mater Dei Catholic, Granite City, Metro East Lutheran, Litchfield, Carlinville, Greenville, Mt. Olive, Cumberland, Hillsboro, Bunker Hill and Gillespie.
