Staunton VFW Post 1241 annual Poppy Days are this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12 and 13. As the VFW's official Memorial Flower, the poppy represents the blood shed by American service members and the VFW will not forget those sacrifices. Volunteers will be out from 8 a.m until 5 p.m. on Main Street and Bill's IGA in Staunton accepting your donations, and volunteers are still needed.
