Jeanne Heather Eckhardt, 60, of Staunton, died at her residence on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was born Sept. 16, 1063, in Alton to Ronald Ooton and Robin (Williams) Ooton. She married Dennis Charles Eckhardt, Staunton, on March 18, 1989 in Worden and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her father, Ronald Ooton, Staunton; spouse, Dennis Eckhardt, Staunton; daughter, Emily (Jessie Smith) Eckhardt, Staunton; grandchildren, Levi Eckhardt and Mikayla Smith. Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother, Robin Ooton; and brother, Ted Ooton.
