Hill Talk
Across the lowlands of life, shadows weave their webs along the landscape. In these wearied places one is destined to search for sunlight, as the mystery of things lay low in the mind. Anointed only by grace, one survives these unadorned cycles of soul time where thoughts fail to climb skyward and hearts feel under nourished by such a few portions of hope. Still, man cannot fall from the infinite fingers of a loving God and beyond all lowlands the mountains raise to finer higher life. Ours is to complete he journey wherever it leads, listening always for the echo calling us to the grandeur of he hills.
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hill. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth." 121: 1-2 (SRV)
