Another class on crocheting is being offered by popular demand at the Carlinville Public Library at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13.

The class will be taught by Kathleen Moberg, a talented Carlinville resident who fosters a welcoming, creative atmosphere. She will be teaching about granny squares, which are used for afghans and other works of art.

Moberg previously taught a “Learn to Crochet” class at the library on March 2, when participants made coffee cup cozies.

“That went over really well, and we had requests for more crochet classes,” said Hannah Miller, the director of the Carlinville library. “So Kathleen graciously agreed to teach another class. She’s a really good instructor, and great to work with.”

The class is free, and all materials will be provided. Participants are asked to register in advance.
