Brett A. Sandretto, 60, of Gillespie, died at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, March 23, 2024. He was born Aug. 29, 1963, in Springfield, Ill. the son of James L. "Sonny" Sandretto and Rosalie Genetti Sandretto. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives.

In his career, Brett graduated with an associates degree from Kilgore University.
