Makula

 

James “Jim” R. Makula, 89, of Staunton, passed away at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., on Monday, March 25, 2024. James was born on Oct. 5, 1934 the son of the late Joseph Makula and Julia (Radae) Makula.

Jim was a salesman for Electrolux Vacuum Systems for many years. Jim enjoyed meeting up with friends and he loved animals. Often times, he amused himself with scratch-off lottery tickets and sudoku puzzles. He will be remembered for his oil paintings.

Jim is survived by his sister, Jean Massa (Robert Thorton) Dartmouth, Mass .; also, many nieces and nephews survive him.

Vistitation services were Monday, April 1, 2024 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton and Reverend Nancy Hubert officiated. Interment followed at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.Williamson Funeral Home of Staunton was in charge of the arrangements.
