Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The March 21, 2024 meeting was called to order by President, Geri Cook at 12:30 p.m. There were 26 people in attendance and one guest, Roger Schutte. Helen Lindsey also returned after being absent for a while.The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were recited.

Those in attendance ate their ham sandwiches, chips, and cookies and the cookies were brought by Ruth Kilduff. It was announced that a former member, Pat Hackmuth passed away and there will be a sympathy card sent to the family.

Among those in attendance, Toni Janus and Cheryl Moore won the attendance prizes while Vicki Pryor and Roger Schutte won the pots of silver. Several nice gifts were won on the ticket drawings and the meeting was adjourned.

Leslie Vannoy, Executive Director of Cedarhurst Assisted Living and Memory Care in Bethalto called rounds of Bingo. the next meeting will be on April 4 at St. Paul's Christian Church at 225 S. Laurel St. in Staunton.
