Court

Travis M. West, (26), of Carlinville, committed the Class four felony offense for being a child sex offender and loitering on March 12, 2024. Said defendant, a child sex offender, entered within a 500-foot radius of Carlinville Intermediate School and remained within said radius while children were present at the school being found within a residence inside said radius.

Brandon M. Lyons, (43), of East Gillespie, committed three counts for crimes committed on March 13, 2024: Counts one and two are for the Class two felony offense of domestic battery with bodily harm and having four-plus previous convictions on March 13, 2024. Said defendant knowingly caused bodily harm to a household member in that he struck a household member in the face with his hand and knowingly made physical contact of an insulting nature to household member, in that he pinched victim on their arms with his fingers and said defendant having previously been convicted of domestic battery of five prior occasions: one in St. Clair county, one in Madison County, and three in Macoupin County. Both offenses are extended term eligible and four years of mandatory supervised release. Count three is a Class four felony for unlawful restraint, in that said defendant knowingly and without legal authority detained the victim, being a seat belt by pulling it tight close to the victim’s neck to keep the victim from leaving the motor vehicle.


Anthony S. Jackson, (20), of Gillespie, committed two counts of felony offenses. Both are Class two felony offenses for aggravated battery to peace officers, in that on March 12, 2024, said defendant, in committing battery, knowingly caused bodily harm to two Macoupin County Sheriff Peace Officers by punching one officer in the torso and punching another officer in the head.

Patrick D.L. Greer, (38), of Mt. Olive, committed four felony offenses on March 14, 2024: Counts one and two are for trafficking a controlled substance, in that said defendant knowingly and with the intent to deliver cocaine in excess of 15 grams but less 100 grams and intent to deliver fentanyl in excess of 15 grams but less than 100 grams from Missouri. Count three is for the offense of methamphetamine trafficking, in that said defendant knowingly brought in to this stated from Missouri with the intent to deliver methamphetamine said drugs being in excess of 15 grams but less than 100 grams. Count four is for possessing more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Ricky Holliday, (32), of Shipman, committed the Class three felony offense of retail theft having a value greater than $300 on Dec. 22, 2023. Said defendant knowingly transferred the price tag affixed to a crossbow cocking tool to a Patriot brand crossbow that was displayed for sale in a Walmart located in rural Carlinville.

Mamie Parker, (69), of Carlinville, committed the first violation with animal owner duties on Jan. 1, 2024, in that said defendant failed to provide veterinary care when needed to prevent suffering in that her dog was untreated for chronic severe KCS and prolapsed gland of the third eyelid.

DUI

Nicholas R. Pratt, (32), of Modesto, was ticketed for driving a gray, 2005 Chevrolet passenger car while under the influence on Interstate 55 while heading northbound towards Springfield on March 9, 2024 at 8:21 pm.

Dartavous A. Washington, (37), of East Saint Louis, Ill, was ticketed for two counts, being the first or second offense of driving a red, 2018 GMC truck while under the influence on Interstate 55, northbound at mile point 43 on March 9, 2024 at 6:39 am.

Hassan H. Nijmeh, (20), of Fairview Heights, was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving a blue, 2017 Nissan passenger car on Interstate 55 on mile point 42 while under the influence on March 3, 2024 at 8:07 pm.

Patrick Dewitt Greer, (38), of Mt. Olive, was ticketed for driving a silver, 2008 Ford Focus while under the influence on Old Route 66 on Feb. 28, 2024 at 7:14 p.m.

Hunter Wayne Edelen, (21), of Brighton, was ticketed for driving a red, 1990 Chevrolet truck on March 13, 2024 at 4:53 p.m. while driving on Washington and Park Streets of Bunker Hill.
