Local Shooting Teams at the Illinois Pioneer Quail Forever Banquet at Brittany Shooting Park

On Saturday March 16 the SHS Shooting Sports Team participated in the Illinois Pioneer Quail Forever Banquet at Brittany Shoot Park. The money used from the event promotes youth shooting sports in multiple towns, the preservation of the wildlife areas and getting the youth to participate in events outdoors. The banquet consisted of many raffles, live auction and a general raffle.

The Quails Chapter presented a Veteran Firearm, First Responder Firearm (won by Art Partridge coach and Staunton FD member), a male youth firearm and female youth firearm. They also donated fishing poles to any youth under the age of 15 in attendance. Along with many of the generous items they donated, Quails also donated $1,000 to each of the four teams in attendance that helped work: Staunton, Greenfield, Carrollton and Bunker Hill.
