Dean L. Anschutz, 89, of Staunton, passed away at Staunton Health and Rehab Center in Staunton on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born Sept. 30, 1934 in Staunton the son to the late Edward “Butch” Anschutz and Verna Foss. He married Carol Karlovic in Sept. 1954 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton and she survives.

He retired from Illinois Commerce Commission Police in Springfield, Ill. Previously, Dean worked as a Produce Manager for A&P Grocers. He was a former City Alderman, a past President of the Staunton Jaycees, and a past member of the Staunton Country Club. His hobbies i...
