On Sunday, March 10, 2024, Immanuel United Church of Christ Hamel, Ill., will be hosting a chicken dinner. Serving will begin 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Drive thru carry out only at $12 for a chicken dinner.

The church is located 1.5 miles south of Hamel, at 5838 Staunton Road, in Edwardsville.

The chicken dinner includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, slaw, and applesauce.

Quilt raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 will also be available. First prize: Quilt; Second prize: Smart TV; andThird prize: $50 Gift card.
