Shirley May Myatt, 80, of Edwardsville, died at Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville, on Feb. 11, 2024. She was born Sept. 21, 1943, in East Fork Township, Ill. the daughter to George A. Spinner and Edna (Meyer) Spinner and they preceded her in death.

She married William E. Myatt on March 13, 1966 in Bunker Hill and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2022. She was retired after having been a switchboard operator for Anderson Hospital.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim Myatt of Maryville and Tammy (Rick) Masters of Collinsville; grandchildren, Kevin (Katie) Buckingham of Edwardsville and Ashley (Andy) Kerr of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Blake Buckingham, Bella Rose Buckingham, Locklyn Kerr, and Rowan Kerr; and brother, Harold (Betty) Spinner of Indiana.

Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Myatt; daughter, Susan Myatt; and brother, George "Bud" Spinner.

A memorial service was held Feb. 16, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill and Kravanya Funeral Home of Bunker Hill was in charge of the arrangements.
