Theodore Carl Solander (84) of Staunton died Feb. 12 at Heritage Manor in Litchfield.

Leroy David Tweedy, Jr. (52) of Billings, Mo., formerly of Worden, died Feb. 8 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo.

Julia M. “June” Boyd (82) of University City, Mo., formerly of Staunton, died Feb. 10 at St. John’s Skilled Care in Creve Coeur, Mo.

Community Memorial Hospital and Madison Communications held a dedication ceremony for the hospital’s new broadband connection.

The Staunton Sesquicentennial date has been set for Sept. 18, 19, and 20 at Staunton City Park.
