Buhrmester

Sherylyn "Sherry" K. Buhrmester, 75, of Edwardsville, died on Jan. 31, 2024 at Edwardsville Care Center. Sherry was born on April 27, 1948 the daughter of the late Lester D. and Kathleen M. (Cheney) Buhrmester.

Sherry was an elementary teacher in Staunton, teaching first grade for 34 years. She was a life member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the United Women in Fellowship. She was also the Edwardsville coordinator for Serving Area Kids (SAK) for eight years. She loved her Boston terriers and had many throughout her life.
