Roleen Ann Henke, 94, of Staunton, died at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Ill., on Jan. 26, 2024. She was born Aug. 23, 1929 in Cahokia to the late Charles Hartke and Anna (Engelman) Hartke. She married Norman Henke at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cahokia on Oct. 3, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 2007.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton, the Zion Ladies Aid, and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a homemaker who enjoyed family, gardening, needlework, and helping on the farm.
